Mobil Jet Oil 387 joins Mobil Jet Oil II and Mobil Oil 254 on the Qualified Products List (QPL) of SAE International, the world's largest aerospace standards development organisation. All three of Mobil's jet oils are approved to the new SAE AS5780A specification endorsed by civil aviation authorities.
Unlike airframe greases containing esters, Mobilgrease 33's 100 percent polyalphaolefin-based (PAO) oil will resist decomposition when contaminated with water. Its superior hydrolytic stability can provide a higher level of protection for airframe components operating under environments with wide variations in temperature range and humidity.
